A price
Sales can
explain.
Quotation Bot
I built the workspace that connects a customer’s formula to its costs, revisions and approval.
A different ingredient or order quantity can change the whole quotation. Sales, R&D and Procurement need to see how the number was reached.

The workspace
Keep the formula
in the conversation.
Ingredients, quantities, packaging and comments live together. The team can review what goes into a product beside the request it belongs to.
Customer-supplied materials stay visible too, so the quote reflects who supplies what.
The calculation
Change an option.
Understand the price.
A price is useful when someone can explain it. I built tools to compare scenarios and inspect the calculation behind each result.
The quantity question
A larger order changes the economics. The comparison brings the requested quantities and calculated prices into one view.
The ingredient question
Review the effect of a formula change before choosing an option to take forward.
Open the number.
See the working.
Ingredient, packaging, label and labour costs feed the quotation. Detailed breakdowns expose the quantities, units and source prices behind the result.
This is calculated pricing, with the rules held in the backend.
Take the same calculation into Excel
The exported breakdown uses the application’s calculation, so a spreadsheet review can start from the same numbers.
The decisions
The quote changes.
The history stays.
Earlier formulas, prices and decisions still matter after a revision. I kept the revision chain and activity history connected to the work.
Role-based actions control review and approval. The team can follow what changed and which version is current.
Engineering
One calculation.
Several ways to use it.
I designed and built the application across its interface, backend and workflow, with clear ownership of the calculation and reference data.
Business rules in the backend
Costing is held in one place. The interface and export explain the result instead of maintaining separate pricing logic.
ERP records stay under ERP control
Odoo supplies reference information. The connector does not write changes back to the ERP.
Decisions remain attached
Formulas, quotation revisions, comments and approvals form a connected record of the work.
Application screens use fictional demonstration records. Select a screen to inspect it in full.
